Aster tataricus

Commonly known as Tatarian Aster, this robust perennial produces tall spikes of lavender-blue. daisy-like flowers in late summer and early fall. Reaching a height of 4-6 feet with a spread of 2-3 feet, it thrives in full sun to partial shade and moist, well-drained soil. This towering aster attracts bees, butterflies, and other pollinators.
