Clematis 'Etoile Violette'

Small-flowering, semi-woody clematis that produces profuse deep purple blooms in summer.  Prefers full sun to part shade and consistently moist soil.  When trained on a trellis, plants can grow to a height of 10 to 12 feet with a spread of 3 to 6 feet.
