Liriope spicata (Creeping Liriope)

Low, grass-like perennial that prefers full sun to part shade.  Glossy dark green leaves reach a height of 9"-15" with delicate lavender blooms appearing in late summer.  Blooms are sometimes replaced with interesting blackish berries in the fall.  Easy to grow; works well as a groundcover.
