Pennisetum glaucum 'Purple Baron' (Ornamental Millet)

Sun. Height 3-4 ft. Width 10-16 in. Features bold plumes of purple flower spikes rising above black to purple foliage in mid summer. The flowers are excellent for cutting. The foliage turns shades of brown in the fall. Excellent for containers (as a "thriller") and landscapes.
