Platycodon ‘Hakone Double Blue’ (Balloon Flower)

A clump-forming perennial with large, bright blue blooms throughout the summer. Before bursting open, the flowers puff out, giving this plant the common name “Balloon Flower.” Grows up to 2 feet tall and 1.5 feet wide. Prefers full sun to part shade and organically rich, well-drained soil.
