Thymus vulgaris 'English Winter'

A variety similar to common thyme but with dark green leaves with clusters of pale pink flowers. This thyme is used with stews, soups, ragout, meats, seafood, veggies, and sauces and is a basic herb in the savory seasoning satchel, Bouquet Garni, because it retains its flavor and scent during the cooking process. Grows 0.5-1 feet tall and 1-1.5 feet wide.
